YES!

For many years, this seminar was not open to anyone, it was reserved to the people I had met during my many seminars abroad and whom I thought could be able to take it. From 1993 to 1996, the students were mainly coming from France. But as I began to invite more and more foreigners this rapidly changed and last year we had only 2 french students in the total group.

It goes without saying that all classes are now given in English as English is the international language of the bujinkan. Each year friends and students from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Hungaria, India, Scotland join in for the seminar.

So until this year you had to fulfill two criteria:

  1. be a sandan minimum
  2. be invited to participate

This year to celebrate the 20th edition of the JSC I have decided to open it to anyone willing to participate. The only criteria is to have trained in the bujinkan for at least 1 year. The reasons behind this decision are twofold:

  1. the bujinkan is growing fast and more and more beginners need better basics
  2. the theme for this year will focus on the fundamentals and basics of the bujinkan* and beginners or young black belts will benefit tremendously from this seminar.

So if you have been training for more than a year and that you are willing to take a giant step in your training click on the link below. For pedagogical reasons the group is limited to 25 participants, the first ones to book in will be the first served.

* the major theme for the JSC2010 is “nagare” (flow) and to express it the classes will be based on the “tenchijin ryaku no maki” and the understanding of weapons in the feeling of Tachi kumiuchi and rokkon shôjô. For more details check the page with the detail program of JSC2010.
